IP format description

IPv4 and IPv6 address formats are converted from each other

Enter the IPv4 or IPv6 address to view the canonical compression form, full expansion form, integer value, hex and binary representation, and all calculations are done in the browser.

ipv4 integer

The four eight-bit groups of IPv4 can be combined into a 32-bit unsigned integer, which is often used for database storage and scope comparison.

ipv6 compression

Continuous zero groups can use a double colon compression once; canonical writing will select the longest continuous zero segment.

No network request

Format conversion does not judge IP territories, nor does it send input content to the server.

IP address format translation Frequently asked questions

Why does ipv6 have multiple ways to write?

The leading zeros can be omitted, and the longest continuous zero group can also be replaced by a double colon, so different texts may indicate the same address.

How big is IPv6 supported by integer conversion?

Full 128-bit IPv6 integers are supported, and the page is precisely calculated using the browser BigInt.
